Your visit and comfort
A first visit lasts about 90 minutes. We take photographs and a 3D scan, complete a doctor's exam and cleaning if appropriate, and finish with a conversation about your goals and a written care summary.
Many of our patients feel the same. We offer noise-cancelling headphones, weighted blankets, numbing gel before injections and oral or IV sedation for longer treatments. You can pause any time by raising a hand.
A full hour for adults, so your hygienist never needs to rush. Children's appointments run about 45 minutes.
We validate two hours at the Fillmore and Sacramento garage, a one-minute walk from the studio.
Yes. The building has an elevator, step-free entry and an accessible restroom. Let us know if you need extra time or assistance.
Cosmetic treatments
Whitening changes color only. Veneers change color, shape, length and small alignment issues. A smile design consultation shows which option, or combination, meets your goals with the least treatment.
Yes. Veneer cases include a digital design and a removable trial smile you can wear home before any final work.
That is our entire focus. We design around your face, lips and speech, and avoid overly white or uniform teeth.
Porcelain veneers commonly last 12 to 15 years or more with good care and a night guard. Results vary by patient.
Insurance and payment
We are in network with several PPO plans, including Delta Dental PPO and MetLife, and file claims for most others as a courtesy. We provide written estimates before treatment.
Purely cosmetic treatments such as whitening are rarely covered. Crowns, implants and some aligner cases may be partly covered depending on your plan.
Yes. Through our financing partners, qualified patients can spread treatment over 6 to 60 months, with 0% APR options on shorter terms. Terms shown on our site are examples only.
Our studio membership is $49 a month and covers two cleanings, exams, X-rays and 15% off most treatment.
Emergencies
Yes, on weekdays. Call before noon and we will usually see you the same day.
Existing patients can call the emergency line to reach a doctor. If you have swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, go to the nearest emergency room.
Keep the crown safe, avoid chewing on that side and call us. Most crowns can be re-cemented quickly if the tooth underneath is healthy.
