Over-the-counter strips bleach unevenly and often leave edges chalky or sensitive. In the studio we start by photographing your teeth under daylight-balanced light and recording your starting shade on a VITA guide, so every decision after that is measured rather than guessed.
Most patients choose a single in-studio session followed by two weeks of custom take-home trays. The combination lifts deep, older staining from coffee, tea and red wine, then settles the color so it holds. If you have bonding or crowns on front teeth, we plan whitening first and match any restorations to the new shade afterward.

Shade consultation
We photograph your smile, record your starting shade and check for recession, cracks or restorations that could whiten unevenly.
Protect and prepare
A light polish removes surface film. Gums and lips are isolated and a desensitizing agent is applied to exposed areas.
In-studio session
Three short applications of professional gel over about 90 minutes, with a headphone playlist or a film of your choice.
Settle and maintain
Custom trays finish the result at home over two weeks. We check the final shade and match any future restorations to it.

Teeth whitening: common questions
No. Professional gels used as directed do not weaken enamel. Temporary sensitivity is the most common side effect, and it usually fades within 48 hours.
Most patients lighten by four to eight shades on the VITA guide. Results vary with your natural enamel thickness and the type of staining.
Porcelain does not change color. We usually whiten natural teeth first, then replace visible restorations so everything matches.
For 48 hours, skip coffee, red wine, curry and berries if you can. A clear diet helps the new shade settle.
