Crowns and root canals
Save the tooth. Make it beautiful again.
Microscope-assisted root canals and ceramic crowns shaded in person, so repaired teeth disappear into your smile.

Overview
A crown covers and strengthens a tooth weakened by a large filling, a crack or root canal treatment. We design crowns digitally from a 3D scan, so there are no putty impressions, and we shade front crowns in person with our ceramist so they match under every kind of light.
Root canal therapy removes inflamed or infected tissue from inside the tooth, relieving pain and preserving the natural root. With modern anesthesia and rotary instruments, most treatments feel much like having a filling and are completed in a single visit.

How it works
Four calm, clearly explained stages from first conversation to final result.
Diagnose
Digital X-rays and cold testing confirm whether the tooth needs a crown, a root canal or both.
Treat
The tooth is numbed thoroughly, cleaned and sealed, then shaped for its new crown.
Design
A 3D scan is used to design the crown while you wear a comfortable temporary.
Fit
The final crown is tried in, adjusted for your bite and bonded in place.

Why patients choose it
- Relief from pain
- Root canal therapy removes the source of throbbing or lingering sensitivity.
- Keeps your tooth
- Saving a natural root is usually simpler and less costly than an implant.
- Invisible repairs
- Metal-free ceramics avoid the dark lines of older crowns at the gumline.
- Strength
- A well-fitted crown protects a cracked or heavily filled tooth from fracture.
What shapes your fee
Starting from a sample fee of $1,450 per crown. Every plan is quoted in writing before treatment, with insurance estimated where it applies.
- Tooth position
- Molars have more canals and take longer to treat than front teeth.
- Crown material
- Layered porcelain for visible teeth, zirconia for heavy biting forces.
- Build-up
- A core build-up may be needed if little tooth structure remains.
- Insurance
- Crowns and root canals are commonly covered at 50 to 80 percent by PPO plans.
“Root canal felt like a long filling. Took two visits for the crown, but the color match on a front tooth is excellent.”
Crowns and root canals: common questions
Root canal treatment is done under local anesthetic and most patients say it feels like a long filling. It relieves pain rather than causing it.
Back teeth almost always need a crown because they become brittle. Some front teeth can be restored with a bonded filling instead.
Ceramic crowns commonly last 10 to 15 years or longer with good hygiene and a night guard if you grind.
