Dr. Julian Okafor, DMD, MS

Background
Dr. Okafor earned his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania and completed a three-year specialty residency in prosthodontics at UCLA, where he researched digital implant planning. Before joining Lumière in 2016 he practiced in a hospital-based specialty clinic, treating patients rebuilding their smiles after trauma and illness.
He plans every implant with cone beam CT and a 3D-printed guide, and he restores what he places, so the crown is considered from the first scan. Colleagues across the Bay Area refer their most complex cases to him, especially front-tooth implants where gum shape matters as much as the tooth.
Outside the studio: A lifelong cyclist, Julian rides Hawk Hill most Sunday mornings and cooks for friends most Sunday nights.
